Glo Girl Initiative was founded by Jessica Sserwadda in Masaka after witnessing the struggles girls faced during school visits. Her vision inspired other young women to join, creating a movement dedicated to empowering girls and supporting communities in need. We provide menstrual health education, self-love and confidence training, and safe spaces for open conversations while also giving out sanitary pads, scholastic materials, and education sponsorships to ensure every girl has a chance to succeed. Beyond this, we extend our impact through environment conservation efforts and food supply programs to support vulnerable families.
At its core, Glo Girl Initiative is more than a project it is a family and a platform where girls and communities can grow with dignity, confidence, and purpose.
We organize interactive workshops that equip girls with knowledge and skills to face real-life challenges. From menstrual health and sex education to confidence building, self-love, and environmental awareness, our workshops create safe spaces for learning, sharing, and inspiring positive change.
We provide a safe and welcoming space where girls can learn, share experiences, and grow together. It is a place for open conversations, mentorship, and support helping every girl build confidence, embrace self-love, and feel part of a family.
We work with passionate teachers and mentors who guide, inspire, and support girls in every step of their journey. They not only share knowledge but also create a nurturing environment that encourages confidence, self-belief, and growth.
